Our path and the guidance we receive upon it is God given.
God gives the gift of experience
to learn of our own Light.
With it comes the joy of hugs, the
smell of roses and the view of
sun so bright.
The price of these sensations, is a
heart that can be broken, a
finger to be pricked and tears of
desperation.
God gives the gift of free will,
to know of our own power.
With intentions of the good life,
great loves and friendships to
flower.
The price of these innate rights,
is we chose when we awaken, how
hard or soft the ride, how
blinded is our sight.
God gives the gift of his hand,
to never walk alone.
With angels drawing back the blinds,
soul-mate mirrors to point us
home.
The price of being human,
is that we have to walk a path,
shed illusions of our separateness
to know we are God's children.
God gives the gift of his love,
to always be uplifted.
With the promise of a better place,
and to never be left drifting.
The price of this divine realm
is we have to go within, let go
our control and let God take the
helm.
