In my dreams, I see her there,
standing there in the night.
Searching for me in the dark,
to make eveything alright.

Sometimes I see her near a pond,
filled with summers rain.
Sitting alone in her beauty,
but I cannot say her name.

She has a sorrow much like mine
that she tries to hide.
One that comes with pain and tears,
that hurts so bad inside.

Two lost souls who have been through fire,
and have suffered too much pain.
Looking for the one true love,
yet I cannot say her name.

It is strange to know her name,
but not to speak a word.
Fear of her laughter stops my voice,
before her name is herd.

Fear of an emotion slipping in,
will cause me to go insane.
I hold the syllables near my heart,
but I cannot say her name.

There's a special place in my dreams,
where she is waiting in the rain.
As I see her watching me,
I wonder,
can she say my name?
