Never tell a cat it is diet time,
or that she's getting fat.
She will pretend not to hear,
and fall asleep in your lap.

Don't tell her that she weighs a ton,
and measures must be took.
She will just meow and purr,
but will give you a dirty look.

Don't tell her that it is fat,
hiding under all that fur.
You may find a waterbed clawed,
or other things, I am sure.

I told my kitty she was fat,
just the other day.
When I told her "diet time",
she fainted dead away.
