Garden Of Hope by Laura Botsford
Oh be righteous oh garden fair, these fragrant memories passing now onto grace so silent in winters breath
While frozen tongues keep love waiting in silent white
The memories of nature are serenities in season
You are the palette of one moment of light
Remembered, brief and resplendent by an artist’ s eye
Without the hand that painted this, there would be not this wisdom of springs hope, pastel and promising.
Nor would there be a day waiting justly for those who believe even when winter is still upon their frozen bones and cracking lips.
In my own way, I reaped a vast expression out of darkness, and there, when all that said never and no, I kept on going.
What would you rather do?
Believe that winter will last forever?
The ground is only resting, dreaming of what it will be next.
