The rocks on the beach are an obstacle to overcome.
Life has done the same to me....
more often than just now and again or some.

I sit and think of all the options that I had.
What if I had done things differently?
Would I be sitting here now sad...instead of glad?

Happiness reigns in my heart once more.
You sent sadness away (helped me over the rocks).
I now anticipate what the future has in store.

True love is not what everyone imagines it to be.
It's not about fulfilling all my wishes and dreams,
its having someone who loves AND likes the real me.

I don't have to pretend to have something I lack.
I don't have to be someone whom I am not.
I simply have to be who I am and love you back.

It sounds too simple to be true .
It sounds too good to be real.
