i know before i know
i stay where i
dont belong
i pace myself
i try to
climb from
the pit of intoxicating
doom

shamefull i watch
words spilled
across the page
written by another
but holding
it dear
threatening to obtain
the threatened

the twisted moon
slides
as hair pricks
my eyes i look
down
oblivion
awaits

i try to fly
but something holds me
a cord
tied to my heart
where is the end?
i dont know
i dont remember
i cant fly

Nicely expressed--feeling out place and wanting to fly, yet feeling held back.
