You make the birds sing
In the middle of the night,
The sun sheds tears
In envious might .
I could gaze into your eyes
for hours upon end,
And after glancing away
Only to begin again .
Every fiber of my soul
Shouts how I adore you,
For the first time in my life
My feelings you’ve set free.
Deep inside my heart
Lies the essence of our love,
Ticking like a metronome
Each day cooing sweeter than a dove.
You kiss my hand, and taste my candy lips,
Instinctively you know I desire more,
In your eyes, heated reflections
devour me,Naked lust,
entwined our bodies cannot ignore.
Night time yields slowly
into heavens’ glowing rays,
I slither past
conscious dreams of you ,
Daylight,soft as petals, gently falls
with promise of the coming day.
Our bodies refreshed,
awaken on a lovers impassioned cue.
