JESUS taught us all,
treat others  as you should.
Not as they do  deserve,
but as you wish they would:
Forgiving and blessing,
doing you only good.

When you are wronged
I know it's tempting
to hate and to curse and hurt.
But Jesus taught us 
to return their evil with good.

You could get even -- but
where would that get you?
Nobody really  wins,  when
all we multiply,  is sin.

Jesus taught you to   
treat others as you ought,
not as their wrongs  deserve.
You saw Him nailed to His cross
forgiving  and blessing, 
and doing you only GOOD.
