“[As] life's footsteps slip away.” It's such a wonderful line, like most of the poem that is filled with so much wisdom and insight for such a brief discourse.
You have real talent and others here are noticing it as well as I.

This is interesting you make mention of the other author. A conclusion can be made from this wonderful expressive poem you are filled with frustration. A conclusion of dreams lost with this author or someone else in your life.

I believe dreams change if you can't fulfill the dreams you want. Disappointments can do that. Seeking the light of happiness is the best thing to do. Prayer is the best thing you can do as well.
The wise heart always keeps sweet memories...
and aye dreams can change daily....
conclusions at best are one-sided and only
to the person who forms them...
Life is a mystery upon all of us...
