He’ll Carry You!
It’s hard to think optimistic, when watching the nightly news.
You start off with a headache and end up with the blues.
These are very traumatic times, that we are living in.
Hearing everyday about crime, poverty and sin.
It’s hard not to get sucked in, to this spiral going down.
When you only hear of evil things, that are all around.
Don’t let them bombard you, with all the negative chat.
Don’t be drawn into it, stop it in its tracks.
Try thinking positive, which I know it’s hard to do.
But I guarantee HIS blessings, will soon come to you.
Keep God close by and in your life,
He’ll help with all your sadness, fear and strife.
Just remember what he promised, when you are feeling low.
Every time you remember, you will start to grow.
We become more precious when we conquer earthly plights,
God is always here with us, setting wrongs to rights.
So call on him to help you, to get through those awful storms.
He’ll not only guide you, but he’ll carry you in his arms.

There are so many times when I walk away from the TV or turn it off, all together, when the news begins to air. Hearing the news reports about the sad state of our society, today, is depression I do not need.
Thanks for the reminder that God is always there for us.
