Sometimes we have to turn things over to a higher power when nothing we do is working.

Poem Artwork

I Know

If I could seize your pain, I would gladly take it from you.
I’d love to see your smiles and health totally renewed.
It hurts so much to see you, in pain everyday.
I ask God to heal you every time I pray.

Nothing seems to be enough, to get you through this pain.
But I will keep on trying, we have so much to gain.
When I see the tears that come and stream down your cheek,
I feel so, inadequate and helplessly weak.

I know God hears me and I know he answers prayer.
I know God loves you and I know that he cares.
For some reason there’s a lesson here, we both must learn.
It’s at HIS time, not ours, so we mustn’t be concerned.

We can grow from this ordeal as we have in the past.
And we’ll come out stronger and you will heal real fast.
God had to watch HIS beloved son, suffer and endure the pain,
Knowing all HIS children would have so much to gain.

God stood by with an aching heart to watch his son die on that tree,
HE had to suffer to that extent, to heal you and me.

Oh, Bonnie --- this is so moving! Having walked in the shoes of one praying for a healing, I know this all too well. There is much to learn on this journey, and we won't know they 'why' until we meet Him. But, then it really won't matter. Will it?

God bless you. Kathy

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
