He’ll Never Abandon You!
When you’re alone and feeling forlorn.
You can’t decide on anything with a sensation of being torn.
There is nothing worse, than the feeling of total abandonment.
Where you feel you’ve been deserted, lonely and spent.
You try to give of yourself and people take all you can give.
They leave you drained and empty like a leaking sieve.
You feel you have nothing of use left inside.
You no longer have strength, courage or pride.
So you sink deeper and deeper into an abyss.
Where no one can touch you and no one will miss.
These are the times, when you must look to our Lord.
If you do, you’ll never be scared, lonely or bored.
HE will fill the hole that is in your heart.
HE will give you a boost and a brand new start.
HE’LL show you a love, you have never felt before.
And HE’LL never abandon you, or close the door.
You can always go to him for comfort and care.
For he is your father and will always be there.
