Lord, hear my plea, heal this world of hate and. sin.
Open the hearts of man so they will let you in.
Be with our soldiers and protect them from harm.
Be with their families; enfold them in your arms.
Touch my loved ones who are ill and make them well.
Lift up those who have slipped and fell.
Be with my children when they are in fear.
Stay close to them so they know you are near.
Feed the children around the world so they no hunger.
Give strength to the elderly so they feel much younger.
Stop all the wars and make love their goals.
So they’ll have a cleansing of their lost souls.
Be with the leaders so they lead in an honorable way.
Give them the wisdom and teach them to pray.
Let all their people pray for them each night.
Let them find the joy in peace and not in the fight.
Bless this world with peace, love and understanding.
Help us all to survive until your son’s return landing.
Let us be worthy of your son’s sacrifice.
Help us know him and be very concise.
Lift all our spirits, so we know the elation,
Of your son’s return, and feel the full jubilation.
For it is written, about the return of your son.
Lord, please receive our souls when this day is done.
