A Love That Cannot Die!
When the nighttime comes, the darkness assaults your very soul,
The loneliness invades you and spirals you into a deep dark hole.
Sometimes it seems like it was yesterday, your love lay next to you.
But when darkness comes, it blocks all memories from coming through.
Oh, how you miss him since he left your precious life.
You find you can no longer manage because of all the strife.
Thoughts of him returning and coming to you at night.
Making your trials easier for he will put things right.
But my friend he is with you and he’s never left your heart.
He holds a place deep within and he will not depart.
So let that heart of your’s open wide, you can do it if you try.
For he loved you while he lived with a love that cannot die.
When your heart is opened, his love will come breaking through.
Those memories will last through the end of time,
While God’s lovingly holding you.
