In God You Abide
Sometimes when life seems rough and you think you can’t go on.
Think what it was like on the cross for God’s beloved son.
HE knew what was coming; HE knew HE could have run away.
But HE stood by his convictions and became our Savior that day.
When life gets painful and your heart is heavy with despair.
Reach out to your loving Savior in a deep heartfelt prayer.
He knows what you’re going through, for he walked among man.
He saw so much pain and anguish throughout this land.
HE died for you, HE died for me and HE did it with HIS blood.
To save us all from our own sins, HE did it out of love.
So when you think life’s hard, think again my friend.
For we have it easy because of who God decided to send.
So dig in and push forward remembering your goal.
The only thing important in life is saving your eternal soul.
Be true to yourself and keep God close by your side.
And you will get through anything, when in God you abide.
