It's so true Bonnie... we always seem to be able to lift ourselves up when we read or see the struggles and pain that others have...makes our seem so insignificant... I know when I went to the movies yesterday and watched a film that was negative, there was a short segment of the reenactment of Christ carrying the cross and being crucified...and the tears just fell down my lovely new sweater...I couldn't help it... This negative movie ended up lifting me again..because I "saw" Jesus (even tho I know it every day of my life) go thru so much pain for us... it just brought it all back home to me...amazing..how we "know"...but sometimes...just "seeing" can make it so real again... Very good write... thank you, lindalaw

A lesson we all should heed: when we think we can't go on, all we have to do is look at the blessings God's placed into/upon our lives, realize that there are people who have it far worse. Suddenly my own disabilities/infirmities don't seem so bad! :) I am indeed blessed, and I am rich because I have Christ in my life; He is the pilot who guides my path! :) Very good write, Bonnie; brava!

When the going gets heavy one only need to remember that man that was flagelleted, humilliate, spit upon, ridiculed, forced a crown made of thorn and yet he had the power and the will to climb up to the Golgotah carrying a heavy wooden burden.
Then...you know that yours is not that heavy.
