I watched him
from afar
knowing
the depths of desire.
Thoughts, dreams and hope
filled my being with fortitude.
I wonder if he knew
I read his words
not by eyes,
but with mind, body and soul.
I felt within his words,
emotions;
raw, unnerved, awed,
thus, becoming
bewilder by untamed
passions that surged,
emotions;
raging to be set free
to feast upon need,
desires blazed
with winds that blew
without thought.
I heard his unspoken words
vaporize
between the lines
of reality.
I watch, with hope
that he will hear more than
the whispers of my heart,
and save us both
from stability's cup
that quenched our needs
years before,
when simplicity
was free
of life's pains and mistakes.
Caught in the web of my desire
for him, I became spell bound,
lost to feelings,
to desire of my heart.
