Shadowy Games I watched you follow my waking steps sway while playing the game of lovers croquet. Through the wickets of moments divine, thoughts prevailed would there be a time, of intimate whispers followed by smiles, laughter of our play would it be heard for miles? Would you reveal from the shadows depths to kisses that linger taking my breath? The day passed by into the dark of night where have you gone my shadowy delight? Copyright 2002 Tracey L. Hardie
