Handling business.......
......um....gotta make that money
With 4 eyes on the prize.......
.....I wanta be drowned in honey
We sleep in shifts......
.....when I'm open your closed
See how long we can pass each
Other on our way thur life and remain happy
(not long)....
...... Oh the games we play to pave
The way "leap frog" no no"musical chairs"
(before 1's gone)

When we are together......
........On Sunday mornings
Rare as it is.........
....... When the day is stormin'
I'm thinking of the women down
By the harbor and shes thinking of the kids......
.....I no were only dreaming together so few spoken
Words our dreams unheard uncertain sealed lips

Shush.......
.......the actress is entering the room
Just pretend to watch the tv.......
.......my script in full bloom
And when she gets outta the bathroom.......
.......misty filled air and window fogged dread
And it's your turn to cry.......
....... wondering question marks circling in head
Run the water this time
Cause your making us look bad..........
........remember to run the water this time
cause your making us look bad

I thought this read was familiar!
Thanks for the collaboration, JR and MKJ--both versions excellently written. And, still just as poignant...

Hi Mitzi:

It does looks better this time.......but hey I'm only learning poetry. I'm everyone's student here; but once in a while I voice my honest humble opinion, be it a sound one or not.

I'm sorry everyone, today hasn't been really a good day for me to do anything. Perhaps tomorrow I will feel better.

Thanks Mitzi and John, for this re-write!

Your poet friend,

Sandie Angel :o)
