A poem filled with wonder and hope. Since some have pointed out their favorite lines, mine is: "Raindrops of sadness transformed into such beauty, reveals Life's amazing ability to reinvent, reconstruct."

In the Old Testament, Jesus gives "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for the garment of sadness." (not a word-for-word quote, but you get the idea) God can bring healing and restoration to the waiting soul, or as you put it, "my ever-opening heart."

Diana, it is so good to read your poetry again. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondered how you were doing.

I think the thing I love the most about this poem is its dual meaning...the obvious skin deep layer of speaking of nature, and the much deeper meaning of turning the raindrops of one's life into glorious and radiant joy and peace with the help of our Eternal Father and friend.
