Seems to me anyone who looks with such awareness has no debt to repay because it is an equal 'exchange.' We never know what our eyes can do for someone in only an instant and to only a stranger.

Isn't it something how a smile, a pat on the hand, or some other small gesture can speak the universal language of friendliness toward mankind. I think it was meant for us all to be this way toward one another. And if this could be, then the world we inhabit would be such a happier place for all. It's so nice to read you once again, Diana. Sometimes it is the unexpected which linger inside our hearts forever. I have had my "Old Italian Lady" moments. It is then that you realize what life is really all about. For most of us, however, we forget too soon and continue our way through the world as we did before that wonderful encounter.
