Last night I cried


For a simple touch


A cordial smile


Haven’t felt that in a while.


 


Rain was heavy


My pail was empty


Fill my space


With your loving embrace.


 


Last night I cried


I waited for you


I ached to be held


I cursed you to hell…


 


Last night I wanted you


But you were not there


I longed for your touch


Because I love you so much…

I can only agree with the other comments: this cry of loneliness is touching and many will empathize...when our deepest needs aren't fulfilled, it gets tough indeed.
