Mr. Eli's Brain

Dedicated to Carol and Eli, two miraculous people.

After
the near disaster
 on the Hudson,
with the plane coming
in for a miracle landing,
I thought, Jesus is not the
only one who had enough faith to walk on water, but Cap'n "Sully" Sullenburger had enough airline and military jet training and faith to cause 150 people and an airplane to do it too! Truly, in this case too, faith without works is dead!

Mr. Eli's Brain

Lord's blessings can,
Drop out of the sky,
Carol's Loved Son, Mr. Eli's brain,
Carol's Loved Sun, after the rain.
God's Loved Son, after the pain.

I love it! And love that you included Eli's brain. I love reading the stories that Carol posts about him. He is a true inspiration to me...and that is, in reality, what this whole poem is about...the many blessings and ways that the Lord touches our lives.

A tribute fine and fantastic to all involved. You demonstrate well the fact that if we put our trust in Him, we cannot fail. The miracle to me is that the God of this entire universe would even care about us, but he does. Wow! Blessings and hugs, J'nia

You know it was really a miracle of the Lord's blessing that no one was hurt from that incidence. The plane was cradled by God as it fell...

Oh Rockie...marvelous!
Jesus was flying that plane through the captain...he wanted the world to witness a miracle in these trying times!

God works in mysterious ways and many times we fail to see His intervention. Miracles occur every day in many different ways.

God loves you and so do I,
