The Last Trump

Leave your worries behind and step lively into a world all your own!

Picture yourself living in outer space all alone,
 
Create you now a perfect world yours to own.
 
Fill it to the top brimming with things you love,
 
Jewelry, fancy clothes, an expensive new home.
 
 
“All is mine now,” you say, renewing a smile.
 
Once left unseen seen since you were a child.
 
Checking your bags you dropped at the door,
 
Something is missing, you feel sad like before.
 
 
Gently a dove lights on your shoulder today,
 
Cooing softly to speak she asks you to pray,
 
“I’ve no time to pray,” you say, to her dismay.
 
Sadly she spreads her wings and flies away.
 
 
All your good intentions equal nothing,
 
Look out! How quickly she has flown.
 
Have you sought perfection in yourself?
 
Now are you living in a world all alone?
 
 
As age creeps upon you, lines fill your face,
 
Pretend not to notice, just wrinkled up space.
 
March figures in time to figure out your fate.
 
Hark! 7th trump blowing, you waited too late!

The Last Trump is a star voyage to another world and provides one with a wake up call. It is indeed a heavenly poem that makes you think and hopefully pray more. Anyway, I just wanted you to know I appreciate your last e-mail but I could not open the attachment. Too many protector guards on my computer? Who knows? Anyway, Keep on flying Starman!
