Bodies of Light *Dedicated to Tami Ryan

I reach deep into her seeking those rays of light
that continuously trace the edges of my desires
just like the magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat
She spreads a smile in celebration of sensuality
raising her cup to the revolving moon of my lust
Her hips thrust into the black of space meeting mine
where we calypso our way to heaven’s front gate
She prompts me in the direction of collected dreams
and soothes me endlessly with moist palpitations
and narrow undulations leading to a sky of parables
filled with a burning sunset of erotic calculations
spewing reflections of soul in a watercolor madness
The confluence of our veins meets a falling sun;
A vinculum of bodies, hearts, souls and minds
and blends in with the scattered stars that shine
Rabidity permeates our thoughts in obsession
with a hunger that never ends and never tires
and I become inebriated by the radiance of her
as she spreads her body out in anticipated love
prepared for the rewarded labor of receiving me
She closes her eyes and sinks into the horizon
as the waves inundate her in sensuous pleasure
while the gravity of the moon pulls her under
and her satiated body then becomes my ocean

My GOD Amor, you must realize that the way you write further solidifies my theory that YOU ought to be the U.S. Poet Laureate of 2004! Pablo Neruda-style with an erotic stroke of genius.

and I mean all of that and a bottle of massage oil!

blessin's and many more muses come to visit you,

Amor.. how very irresistible is the man who recognizes the power and beauty of women and dedicates his talent to honoring one of the very BEST among our gender! You write with soul... your tribute, divine! She is a tireless wonder, isn't she? Oh, yes. And you, dear poet, are "one of the good guys!" katy xox.

Incredibly "dense" poem in which we are presented with a veritable "feast" with every line! A sensual "Christmas", truly! My special "delicacies" were: "She...soothes me endlessly with moist palpitations and narrow undulations leading to a sky of parables filled with a burning sunset of erotic calculations": fusion of emotional and physical "highs". Thank you. KB

Oh my gosh, Amor...

I c-c-c-an't type. (Geez, need I tell you I'm blushing?)
I'm wildly flattered. Correction: beyond flattered.
I so enjoy your work, Amor - you inspire me, unbelievably.
(And let us all celebrate Goddesses everywhere!)

Yowsa - so many incredible lines here:
"She prompts me in the direction of collected dreams"
"spewing reflections of soul in a watercolor madness"
"A vinculum of bodies, hearts, souls and minds
and blends in with the scattered stars that shine" <--- oh, I really like that one!
"Rabidity permeates our thoughts in obsession
with a hunger that never ends and never tires
and I become inebriated by the radiance of her" <--- omg, what woman wouldn't want a man to be inebriated by her? Whew. (she smiles...)

I think I'll simply close my eyes and sink into the horizon now...

A thousand thanks
and even more hugs,
Tami

This was very dreamy and showers the reader in rich imagery
this is beautiful and very generous
although I loved it all- this stands out:
She spreads a smile in celebration of sensuality
raising her cup to the revolving moon of my lust
**I honestly wish I had thought it** well done - Donna
