Love has never been so quiet before
a silent yearning that captures my all
feeling what she keeps deep inside
secreted in her mind, soul and heart
projected to me from her loving eyes
The chocolate easels of her imagination
have placed me reclined upon her bed
caramel dreams precipitate emotions
drawing the strings of love like a taffy
stretching out our substance in the heat
Melted upon our tongues was a passion
as Neapolitan layers whetted our flesh
sweet sin in our cotton candy sensuality
we consumed each other seeking poison
to extract the roots of a bittersweet love
Her tears became tapioca within her elation
celebrating the cypress of windswept shore
beaconing me from a wild and turbulent sea
luring me into her arms and honeyed thighs
reassuring me with candy apple promises
Love, has never been so sweet as this
condensing me with it’s subtle ecstasy
converting me with sweet-toothed fantasy
addicting me with its camouflaged sucre
leaving me lingering and longing for more
She first appeared when my back was turned
when the salt of my tears long evaporated
at a time when love was absent from view
and slowly the pangs of want grew louder
as the need precipitated something more
To my dear friends and fellow authors here at AD,...I have been remiss at writing and posting due to health issues and other pressing things that life consistently throws in our paths.
The good news is that the account I have with AD will not be deleted as I do have a paid lifetime membership here and the Eteam rapidly corrected the error.

Beautiful work Amor, and so fine to read you again.
(I've been gone myself, same reason and hoping for a good prognosis.) I hope you get your AD resolved. First the free was discontinued after I sent a couple hundred people this way, now the lifetime membership is cancelled? That's going to be a surprise to a good many people here. Well shat!!! I'll have to take AD off my recommended list in my marketing books. Don't forget authorzone.com. I hear it started up again under new management. It is FREE.
