Dear Love…know that my thoughts are always with you
with each passing day, know well that I have been away
but not from your side in your sweet thoughts and dreams
as cold time and life take me by the hand from your sight
but shall not at all erase what my mind races to return to
It cannot displace my emotions or my gravitation to you

I travel each day further away from you in the distance
even then, never shall the bridge between us be broken
all we need to do is look up into the stars in the night sky
and allow ourselves to truly feel the warmth of the other
so we may surely know that doubt cannot enter our world
or the love we share will not be diluted by time or distance
believe only in what you cannot see for it truly does exist
as my absence signifies nothing more when we are apart

I walk in shadows filled with the lonely, but never am I
for I know, that you carry my heart just as I carry yours
and regardless of where I may be, I hold you tenderly
and enter your dreams softly to caress your dear love
so I may be able to hear moans of delight in our nights
and fulfill that need to whisper that I am still with you
allow that truth to penetrate your being and thoughts
even though our bodies are separated by cold reality

Know that all my dreams are usurped by your smiles
with the rushing of our bodies in consuming embrace
as they then collide and explode with heavenly emotion
only to create our own parallel universe with just us in it
know that our love continues to expand and grow bright
as a great supernova giving birth to such glorious love
to tangential flight across that distance to unite as one
one another melding floating off and spinning into infinity
