“Endless Love”

Your eyes meet mine in our search for endless love
the fatal waves of your eager body overwhelm me
I have found myself floating within your restless seas
I face eternity upon the swells of your great passion

we ingest one another in the quest of a surreal waltz
In the fibrous pulp of your love; I dwell in imagination
I spy these angles of your form heaving in candlelight
shifting liquid shadows dancing upon iridescent walls

your glances are the cement that binds me in dreams
I am a sentenced man to all of your unbridled desires
you are an innocence that arrives with the springtime
but, just like forbidden fruit, you become my final meal

I compose melodies in those red creases of your heart
as I remain there inspired while I await your awakening
and even my skin lusts for your soft and explicit touch
as murmurs of combined passion become tidal waves

our souls are the split between the framework and doors
and I wander unescorted through your fragrant gardens
I capture the vibrant lifeblood within you flowing uphill
where I resurrect the submerged canvas of your desires

I paint you in the richest hues within pure incandescence
while bare bosom heaves above me like swaying palms
breaching my world of thoughts into the oasis of my soul
just like a treacherous lion caught in the branches of guilt

I pledge my devotion and adoration in every public square
announcing you like politics and pink-tinged morning clouds
I sip from the tangents of your angles and rounded curves
only to start all over again bathing you within passionate kiss

I see you within the colors and designs of uncommon rainbows
In the repeating patterns of ancient loves and lustful memories
I call out to you in the agony of your absence and implore you
to feel the longing in the ruby pomegranate folds of your love

I have a reason to linger with a smile in the niche of your heart
I swim in the memory of you and sink like a stone to the bottom
I become one with the coral, and red-eyed fish congratulate me
on making it to the depths of your hidden lust once and for all

Amazing to go from verse to verse, surrounded with visuals. I like how the imagery starts out on the surface (no pun intended) and grows deeper and deeper in depth. Beautiful work.

Reading wishes- wondering, really wondering...why is it not like this for just about all of us- at all times?
What are we doing- when we could be doing this?
Why not?

And yet...not.

Bravo- of course.

You paint with every emotional shade, tone and nouance in the spectrum of love, Amor, and use a complete lexicon in the language of desire. Such delicacy in expression with melting lines, but so potent and electrifying in its effect. This love is the perfect gift that every woman should receive at least once in her life in order to bring her to the fullness of her potential being: body, soul and spirit. You and your Muse are mutually blessed - and so are we for the privilege of sharing in it. Thank you. xx

This is the work of a poet with great understanding
of the heart and a woman with great passion.
Is it just me or is there something very special
in the AD ether today?
Fine fine writing, Amor.

WOW!!! I am overwhelmed. One need not read between the lines on this one. Absolutely fantastic. Were I able to conjure up such fantastic lines, I feel certain my sweetie would handcuff me to the bed saying something like "Talk, talk, talk... Now prove it..... Or, maybe that's just wishful thinking....

Thank you, Amor. Loved every morsel of it. Dick

Magic! Something just stood up and took note in my soul as a reader of this beautiful work of art...I'm sure it is a rare man who can bring this kind of emotion to an encounter, and especially someone with this kind of a loyal heart.
Bless you, Amor!

Romantic, erotic perfection Amor. The contents of a tender and passionate heart spilled on the page. No one comes close to you in the romance genre.
