Dawn Catcher (Dedicated to Elizabeth Lucas-Taylor)

She is a dawn catcher nude at the patio door
catching the yawn of the early morning sun
like a child greeting the warm rays of the sun
and gives it a name with an innocent smile

She tickles the sky with pomegranate whispers
that she corrals through the lobes of my ear
teasingly, she kisses me with root beer eyes
and rides the elegant dawn with her laughter

Her skin glistens in light of tangerine morning
as refraction pronounces her ethereal form
with her back to me in panoramic splendor
for I can see sunrise between her firm thighs
while she feels the warm weight of my stare

She caresses my tongue with her image
sweeping out sighs from the base of my throat
with the sweetness of Hershey kiss nipples
and the honeyed Goosebumps of bare flesh

The spiked punch of her breasts overwhelms
and I become intoxicated within her sins
for the decadence of her is all I crave for
and I find that I cannot get out of this bed

I measure her behind with palms for calipers
unblemished nectarines fresh off of the vine
and I touch slim frail shoulders made for lace
and the Napa valley for her sensuous spine

She plants the grapes of muscatel kisses
my lips then sink fully upon her softness
and a crashing wave of light flares up
from the surging center of our desires
and suddenly orchids bloom from our sweat

Her erotic tongue reads novels on my chest
beginning with the letters of the alphabet
as she straddles me with the silk of her body
and adorns me with a half-devious smile
tapping energy with the rhythm of her belly
while harvesting the phantoms of my lust

Her long hair cascades over my heart
as she goes into a trance of undulations
riding the waves of her euphoric camel
over the Arabian sands of eternal bliss

She catches the dawn with a raw splendor
and interweaves it with refreshed dreams
that we carry seamlessly into the evening
and while engaged in our infinite embrace

*A year ago this week when I had barely joined the AD family, I had the honor of being read and CORRECTED by Elizabeth on one of my very first posts although she did enjoy the piece then. She has remained a steadfast reader of my work since and I will be damned if I do not at least repay her with the most tempting piece in my arsenal.

Elizabeth in times continuum age means nothing;-) Go for it!... Amor, you have bewitched the realms of sorcerers, stealing all their magic to place in this poetic tribute all the exotic, erotic, alchemy, leaving them empty;-)Superb as only you can do;-)!

Amor, my head is spinning...

"root beer eyes"
"hershey kisses"
"Spiked punch"
"muscatel kisses"
"riding the waves of her euphoric camel over the Arabian sands of eternal bliss"
This is as intoxicating and erotic as the Arabian horses racing across the desert carrying an Arabian knight to his queen.

such a sexy tribute, done with lots of taste

[smiles] I was just catching up on emails when you flashed on my screen. My gosh. I sound like a super delicious lunch. I am extremely flattered, dear heart. You are still too young for me, but if you keep writing like this, I may over look that slight handicap. Love you, and thank you.
You've made my day...perhaps my life.
