A lemon meringue morning sunrise beats feet
through her window lighting up the room
Thin faded blue sheets around her waist
spilling over angles and curves like Niagara Falls
her back is towards me in a fetal position
my hand on her hip and another on her tiny shoulder
the softness of her inner thighs defies gravity
as I press into them gently
my body envelops her as she arches her back
I anchor her hip with mine
as I find the daylight of her blooms
I cup her perky breasts with the hands of a lumberjack
While admiring her red highlights
As the sunlight bounces through translucent strands
She etches her arousal on the skin of my back
With candy red crystalline nails
She signs a chapter of her ecstasy
with the blood of my body
I await her until her climax arrives
In waves of light and glory
that wash over and inundate me
I release a galaxy of worlds
through the vortex of her soul
Each sparkling star explodes into radiant gems
Every ocean becomes filled with the lilting songs of dolphins
Our worlds fold into themselves and regenerate lost Edens
I become lost in her satiation and yet
find that I do not wish to leave
A lemon meringue morning finds its way
through closed lids of content
Life has taken root in the corners of her smile
*Dedication for Marilyn Seray who has read almost everything I have posted and for her love of romantic poetry. May all your days start out with lemon meringue mornings.
