Up to old 'Midnight Dome' I did wander
And gazed out upon valleys so broad
And the 'Yukon' still flowing through Heaven
As though guided by Almighty God
I have never seen valleys so endless
I have never seen skies quite so clear
I have never seen rivers so moving
I have never felt earth quite so dear
I have never seen people so friendly
And I hope all this never shall cease
For I've never been so struck by beauty
I have never been so much at peace.
