I can't come with you yet dear Lord
It's too early to depart
There are things that must be written of
Words spoken from the heart

Old Mother Earth's in trouble Lord
And needs a helping hand
To try and stop her murder Lord
I think you'll understand

She needs much help to fight for her
And sound out the alarm
Against those who, for profit Lord
Have done her grievous harm

For politics and businessmen
She's been raped and plundered too
So I have to stay awhile and fight
And do what I can do

What they've done to Mother Earth dear Lord
We both know is a sin
It's a fight 'tween those who care or don't
And we can't let them win!
