We walked the beach in the moonlight
                       Strolling hand in hand
Talking small talk, nothing of importance
                      The tide was coming in

   We started getting wet
Seaweed was washing up on shore
The kind with balls that pop
                      Our silliness started
                                to peak
                   I picked up the seaweed
                    Threw it at your face
                You then started to retreat
                  Grabbing your shoulders
                       Pulling you down
                  Your eyes gave me clues,
                     That your emotions
                        could not rouse
You wanted to be kissed. . .

It is funny how some moments can so quickly change gears from being just passing time to suddenly making time with just the right look or touch. Wow! Excellant write.
