The truth will set you free... or does it. Sometimes the truth can be painful and also to others. However, once the truth be known all can either work through it or forget. For must we all be accepted or accept others? Is not the ultimate to just be happy for ourselves? We can always work on what we feel is our short-comings. If others do not accept you, their loss :)

I have more or less fought conformity all my life, Odin. I have a saying on another website that I frequent, and it says, "If they give you lined paper write sideways."

I am not a radical. I have just more or less gone my own way. Of course the older I become the more I find that I conform. I think that has to do with the fact that I just don't have the energy to fight them. Hah!

Truth. It has many definitions and many interpretations. I pride myself on truth, being true to myself and others, but I also understand that lies frequently will conduct business within me.

We all speak of truth as if we are never guilty of lies...but the fact is everyone lies in one form or another, whether they be little white lies, lies of ommission, lies to protect or to try and keep from hurting or just because of their own infallability. I guess the real truth is when we do lie...to know it is and strive not to lie again.
