Belonging to one’s parents
is to know the confinement of possession.

Belonging to one’s job
is to know entrapment of the Peter Principal.

Belonging to one’s mate
is to know the tenuousness of identity.

Belonging to one’s aloneness
is to know the loss of contact.

Belonging to oneself,
is to finally accept the freedom of choice.
