Heart/Mind in Concert

How accordant listens the heart to the mind,

The oneness of inseparable partnership,

Knowing the very essence of relationship success

Often becomes dissonant in harmony,

One or the other allowing momentary discord

To give off-key wandering,

Perhaps assuming improvisation may be a better way.

Like gender connections,

Long lasting union

Asks not of discord

But respect for the tone and function
