 Few Deserve Emptiness

 

Might memories
Bring sunlight of orange
To the gray of indigence?

 

Might shallow breath be
The invisible presence of love
Quietly burying evaporation of tears shed?

Is such a lesson learned easily?

I think not

Love connects all
Even as it discerns vacancy
Masquerading as substance

Yes

Love remains for all
Knowing few deserve emptiness

As you have written there are both light and dark places in lives. Those dark places are a time to reflect, re-organize and re-energize towards something better. It will come in due time if one is diligent about heading in that direction.

Few deserve emptiness and we all feel at times its ill effects. indeed the one blessing of emptiness is that it is waiting to be filled.

Emptiness. Barrenness. Loneliness. Despair. Sadness. Desolation. Vacuity. Inanity. Pointlessness. The feeling of emptiness is like a ghost. Sometimes it quietly haunts you, and other times it terrifies you. Notwithstanding… experiencing emptiness is part of being human, but thankfully, filling that void with purpose, with something real, offers a way to transcend. I wish the writer well. Peace…. rlc
