As time flies by the world keeps turning.
I used to take it for granted.
Now I not only live in this world,
I have to live with this world.
The wildness of the day is terrifying.
I look to my children and wonder:
Will they become the terrorists, or the captives?
Will they try to blow up the world, or save it?
Will they be the assassins, or the bullet's target?
And there's one more question brought on by the day. . .
Will they be allowed to grow up?
