My friends asked me to write a little poem to put beside their picture at the guest book for their wedding.

*Hourglass* *The years do spill as grains of sand* *Through the hourglass of time* *As our journey starts upon this day* *Your hand clasped tight in mine* *True love we pledge until our death* *A life spawned from our dreams* *The years we�ve shared will ne�er compare* *To those not yet redeemed* *With light of heart, our life shall start* *On this our Wedding Day* *I toast to you with sparkling wine* *E�er to love you, as today* *The years may test our united quest* *Though naught can break the chain* *For as soul mates we�ve been linked by love* *And forever shall remain* *As we become husband and wife* New love blooms from our bliss *As our sacred vows are sealed this day* *With our first united kiss* Sherry Gail Heim May 17, 2004 Copyright � Sherry Gail Heim 2004
