For a moment, the world stood still
I felt the change I had always known was coming
In a heartbeat, one single breath
There was no longer a me
And there was no longer a you
There was a melding of our souls
A joining of our hearts, our bodies
I knew at that very moment
That we had forever been one
The unconscious search had ended
Funny now, with the distance
Between your home and mine
I feel no loneliness-I feel no separation
Our hearts and our souls mingle together in the ethers
Our spirits linked for eternity
We cannot ignore now what we have become
We are both so tenderly changed in finding one another
This feeling is new and this feeling is old
This is a never-ending love
The true st of all bonds
It is time now for us to go forward without fear
To grab onto our dream and for just once
Allow ourselves the greatest gift of all
The gift of true love
Our search is over…we have found us
What lovely hues and shades of soulmating. Excellent interpretation Sherry. So there's still hope after all, an inspiration to my heart, "...the truest of all bonds..." I like that!

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
