She walks in the shadow of her own world

She hears the voices  saying to kiil herself

She see's  through a thick and hazy fog

a world  she knows little of

She struggles to do the daily tasks of

washing her hair , brushing her teeth

Her rehabiltation counselor explains why this is important

yet all she really wants is 

understanding of what she is going through

Don't  they understand the effort and energy it takes

just to get up in the morning?She says to herself

But then she see's her friend

Her wonderful friend

A woman who comes just to see her

Just to listen and hear aboutt her life 

and even to listen to her faith in God

They share this wonderful time together

She is not seen as a mental health patient

but a child of God

Yes, she does have symtoms

and does need help 

But she is so much more 

She is a daughter

She is a woman

She has deep faith

and many other things

So let us love and cherish her

Let her know her voices are WRONG.

Let us embrace her as our own.
