My wandering heart

You go searching and yearning

They will surely love me

They will chersih me and

fill the hole left as a child

surely they know the

little child in me needs love

They will love me!

They must love me!

They are able to care but

it's just a drop in the bucket

and the heart still wanders

You finally begin to realize

your heart has been wandering

and working so hard, but

it didn't realize it couldn't

fill the bucket, it couldn't

fill the hole

What do you do now?

There is a real bucket that can be filled

Yes- This one is for today

and for the adult that you are

This one God can help you fill

In fact - it can over flow!

Your heart realizes the childhood

is over and can never be lived again

That is a very hard and painful lesson

All the wandering and yearning

But look at what you can have!

The love of God!Of the holy one!

All you have to do is look inside you!

God is waiting to calm your yearning

heart and show you a new and joyful world

Will there be the cross?

Of course,but it will be the cross

of Jesus and He will carry it with you

The first step is just letting Jesus love you
