She has a joyfull spirit and loves to dance
She wants so much to share this joy and hope
However, her life as been far from joyfull
She was molested by two teenagers
one was going to kill her, when the other
one said "she isn't worth it. "Those words stayed with
her for many years. Not even human enough or worth
even being killed yet alone living!
There were other incidents, but somehow
she had the will to live.That "somehow",I
believe is God.God has led her through much
and now she has much she wants to give!
She wants so much to give what was given her
A New Beginng!She can't bring back her childhood
but she can have a new begining as an adult
You might say I know this person pretty well
She happens to be me!

How very honest and transparent this is, but we heal from "facing" the past hurts, yours was physical abuse, mine was verbal and emotional abuse. The poem says it is God Who makes us have new beginnings and makes us a "new creation" - and how true that is.
Bonnie May said it well too, we are able to minister to others who
suffer the same pain BECAUSE we know how it feels, and we know there is hope and a new life ahead....after abuse.
The one thing they cannot destroy, Cindy, is the beauty of the person inside you. God bless you always!
