What Really Matters

The idea of this poem is to help us not be so focused on getting things done, but on following Jesus.

Get to work on time

Be sure the paperwork is done

Get the outcomes out

Do the kids have everthing?

Are they going to be alright?

Will they fall in with the

wrong crowd?

All good questions

But is that all there is to life?

Getting things done and

being sure everything is in order?

Worrying about many things?

I try and remember the

only thing that really matters

is loving and following Jesus.

Once we do that

everything else will fall in place

I saw a man die at the ICU where my brother was also confined, the eerie passing of a soul brings one to this point in time where what really matters is eternity...and your poem has said it all. God is Who really matters in our life.
