Jesus, please take my thoughts,

feelings, heart and soul as I write

Let my words be words that

bring your hope and love to birth

Let me be a small bright light

in the many rays of light

that you provide

If I ever write anything

that does not lift you up

That does not have your

truth or love, please urge me

in some way to change it

If I ever write anything

that doesn't bring your

forgiveness, love, or encouragement

I would rather have it destroyed and

thrown in a fire

This prayer is given with

and open heart and willingness to

 try and do your will

Even though I know I

will fall sometimes

I know you always

welcome a humble

heart asking for forgiveness

To you be the honor, glory,

and praise
