Sleeping , slowly going to sleep

Then I see a beautiful face

looking right at me

Such love in his eyes

and his smile lets

me know he knows me

He takes my hand

and shows me a glowing

loving heart and you can hear

it beating steady and strong

Then he shows me

a vast area filled with

peace and beautiful

flowers and meadows

It goes very deep and far

Then he shows me

people needing help

asking for me

How can I say no to them?

But then he takes me back

to the meadow and flowers

Only then does he say

This is what is within you

But it only a small part

The other part is me

and my compassion and strength

You will be able to help the people

you saw, but you need these other parts

Your own heart will not be enough

to show my love to others.

So go to sleep my child

You must rest now

Right before I fall asleep

I wonder- was I dreaming

or was I awake when I saw these things

Then I realize I was very much awake

and aware of reality than I ever was
