Waiting With Hope of an Author

This is a poem that tell of the waiting and hoping we do as authors.

Waiting and hoping

The waiting of an author

is routine and common

We wait for a publisher to review

We wait for the proofs

We wait for the book to be printed

But the writing from our heart

is what we do

It is what we are about

When our writing is finally published

it is like the birth of a dream

A birth of our very heart

It is worth the rejections

and waiting

Waiting for that one

publisher who says YES!

Oh so true my friend, a writer seems to think deeper, feel with more heart, soul and passion. When all of the emotions from within are poured onto the paper it is a very satisfying feeling...but when we see our work in the final published stages of being born for the world to see....wow!!! The emotions only intensify! A wonderful feeling indeed...enjoyed!

I can relate to that too. When you put all the hard work and endless hours into the book, and when it births, it's a very good feeling!!!
