As I reflect on words

I see how important they are

They can build up and encourage

or they can hurt others and cause strife

In books they can impart knowledge

creativity, fantasy, any number of things

In spirituality words can lead people

closer to God or drive people away

For children growing up they start

using words to communicate

and an adults the words we use

to teach and help them are very important

Words in a song can inspire or tear

down compassion and joy

Yes, words are one of the most

important ways we communicate

How am I going to use words today?

To build up the love of God

or tear it down?
