We go through your day
thinking of what we need to do
So many things
We worry about paying bills
Will my heath be alright
Will my families heath be alright
Will I keep my job
Many many questions
For today maybe we can slow down
and realize we are alive today
Today is the day that matters
As the Bible days
we will add one day to our life by worrying?
Be kind to yourself
This is a new begining!
Oh I know you have heard that before
But it really is!
We have only today
to find peace within ourself
so we can give it to others
We have only today to tell our family
and friends we love them
and to show it in our actions
Most of all please know
you have the love of God in you
and around you
You ARE God's beloved!

Another wonderful praise for the Lord, but this hit me so hard today. You mention about living today, a very dear friend of mine passed away yesterday. The day before I was talking to him on the phone. It was a man I worked with and we attended the same church. We were planning his retirement party, now we're planning his funeral. Life is strange. I guess it was just his time. You go when the Lord calls you, you can't call ahead for reservations.
