The Beauty and Wonder of Winter!

This is a poem that reflects on the beauty of winter.

The winter brings the cold and the rain

The trees show their emptiness

The clouds can bring a sense of

sadness and gloom

Yet there is a beauty in the trees vulnerability

The clouds have their own wonder

and can show greatness when the sun

breaks through right in the middle of a dark cloud

The cold can bring us into a warm room with a fire place

We can talk about love and understanding

Yes, it may be cold, butt oh what delights winter brings

Winter?? WHAT winter?? We haven't had snow here!! NONE!! Maybe a furry or two, but that's IT! Oh, and our beautiful shelf cloud/thunderstorm we had two days AFTER Christmas (plus we were under tornado watches that day! CRAZY!!)! I miss the cold and snow; send us some here please?? Well done, Cindy; brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

It's always good if one can find beauties in the least expected place, and you have done that with this poem. When you are a beautiful person, you will be able find beauties in everything you see...

And these are beautiful words!!! A lovely write, Cindy!!!

I agree, Cindy. Winter is just as beautiful if not more so than the rest of the seasons. A fine ode. Love and blessings,

Regis
